Dave has been honkin' the Baritone Saxophone since he was 13, when Greg Metcalf introduced him to the instrument - an event that established Dave's musical career. He knew he had a passion for the instrument since he was willing to spend three hours shaving a reed to vibratory perfection.

Dave grew up in TriCities Washington, where he played in jazz bands led by Dave Barduhn, Wayne McGuffin and Larry Bunch. Dave also plays the electric bass, having been inspired by a Rush concert, and jams with friends on weekends.

This is Dave's first foray into the Rhythm 'n' Blues horn section. Because Dave plays the Baritone Saxophone and bass, it can be said that he likes phat bottoms.
